HA (UK) Ceramic Products

At our production site at Hazlehead we are producing a wide range of ceramic strainers and filters for metal filtration used within the foundry industry. We also produce ceramic collars and tie rods which are used in investment casting.

 

Other products include ceramic knock-off cores, discs and ferrules.

Strainers
The use of ceramic strainers is standard practice in a wide range of foundries from the highly automated plant supplying the automobile industry to the small semi-mechanised unit producing general engineering castings

Grid Filters
Grid filter is a low cost molten metal filter providing efficient filtration and controlled pouring rate for most metal compositions ranging from irons to light alloys

Collars
A range of ceramic collars is available for use in investment casting

Rods
A range of ceramic rods is available in various shapes

Knock-Off Cores
Ceramic knock off cores are used in foundries as a alternative to sand knock off cores

Discs
A range of ceramic discs is available in various shapes

Miscellaneous
A miscellaneous range of ceramic products

Ferrules
Mushroom flanged ceramic ferrules are designed to give protection to tube ends, tube plate and weld areas from the hot combustion products in boilers and other heat exchanger units
