Corrodur®-Solid Resins

- Peelback-Free

The Corrodur® solid resins used for production of peelback-free precoated sand have been specially developed to produce a clean, dumped molded reverse of shells and hollow cores.

- Thermoshock Modification

The special demands on the thermoshock properties of precoated sand and molding materials resulting from complex casting geometries can be partly met (dampening of sand expansion) by systematic choice of a thermoshock-modified Corrodur® solid coating resin.

- Aluminum Casting

In view of the low heat capacities in aluminum casting, and the still lower heat capacities in aluminum gravity die casting, HA has developed Corrodur® solid resins that afford adequate core collapse after pouroff even under these conditions. These resins additionally feature excellent peelback behavior.
